I am unable to view the link from work...so i did not get the full gist of this story.....I must assume the N word referenced is Nigger....
But how would that be a reason for returning an item?

It's a video and even the link didn't work for me but I Googled it.
Basically the sneaker store Journey's has a list in their computer to use for Customer Name (I'm guessing for when they don't have the or don't ask for the name) and one of the generic options they can choose fromis DUMB NI**ER. The sales clerk chose this option for a customer but he didn't notice it until he went to return the shoes.
