Hey yawl,
So my next R and R (Vacation) is quickly approaching.
I want to visit Hollywood. Has anyone ever been there?

yeah I was there back in 98 for the Aim Convention didnt do a whole lot of site seeing though...but I did get to the walk of fame and the Chinese theater , saw capitol records and of course went to West Angeles when it was off of Crenshaw but thats about it and yeah i got to go the beach Venice Beach..it was cool I want to go again....when are you going? Oh and I met Michael Bivins from BBD at church!that was way cool..he was really nice we took a pic together and all of that.

Oh exciting, i am going on March 15th i believe...ill have to go to those places you mentioned. No beach tho, i just want to see everything...
I want to go somewhere where they will make me look like Oprah.....and take pictures and stuff....

It was nice and I much preferred riding the subway and eating out to site seeing. I wasn't impressed with the tours but I did like the Walk of Fame. I think I liked more that these people were given the honor of having a star rather than thinking "wow I put my foot in Will Smith's footprint".
We also went to San Francisco which I really really loved. It reminded me of a small village in a big city

I loved it....spending time with Yas and Debs was the highlite of my vacation, but i loved just knowing i was in Hollywoood babyyyyy...lol
Oh i slept a lot to...lolol

She slept through a lot of Hollywood and all of San Francisco (In Frisco it was from the airport to a hotel to the airport.)

@Lalita and Phun,
Both a yawl can jump in the river...lol
Cos Lalita you and i communicated almost daily so you know if i was sleeping or not....lolol
Okay this is how sleep went.
I got home from travelling for over 24hrs on Thursday at 11am.
Got off the plane and headed to dentist then i went to nail shop, hair shop and then to my house. Fell asleep around 2am, and woke up Friday at about 9am.
Friday i went shopping. Went to sleep that night around 2am.
Saturday I was up around 9am and had a nice breakfast made by my momma , yummmmmmmmmmm.....
Then from there i went to Ross, my favorite clothes store. Went to bed that night around midnight.
Sunday i was up at 8am and went to church for 11am.
After church we left for LA. So as you can see a sistah was still sleepy.....
So we got to La and i slept while Debs and Yas went to do the college thing and each night i was up online until maybe 1am or later....so whatever Debs.
Then i went to NY and that was crazy, got home from LA Thursday evening around 6pm, and had to get ready for a 9am flt on Friday morning. So Thursday night i did laundry, packed etc....got into bed around 3am.
Okay got to NY, and by the time i got there it was time to get ready for church....by the time i got home from church, it was after 11 or 12...midnight...then Carol (mechimom) and her daughter came and then we were up until almost 2am. Then a bit after 2, i woke up because i had an eye infection....so that kept me up all night.
Saturday morning i was at the doctors office at 8am....got back home about 10am.
Slept until about 3pm.
Around 6pm began getting ready for church. Got home from church around midnight, talked to Carol for a while then we fell asleep maybe at 2am.
Okay here it is Sunday - Got up at 11am and was in church by 1215. Church got out then i hung out with friends while eating dinner at church, plus i had a business meeting after church.
Okay finally got home around 530pm. By 7:30pm, i was BACK in church. Church got out around 1030pm, and i hung out talking to people i havent seen in years until about 12 midnight. Then Krystal my Pastors daughter, my little sister, a friend Meka and i went to get some Jamaican food. That night i spent at there house because NO was not an option. So we stayed up until almost 3am, talking to everyone who was at the house etc.....then they went to bed and then Krystal and i talked until 7am Monday morning...so no sleep.
Then here it is Monday....they took me to my sisters home where i was staying, and i showered and got dressed and went out...Monday was spent sleeping and talking and eating and stuff....not in that order.....
So as you can see, i keep weird hours so i sleep when i can fit sleep in....lol

so happy you had a blast wish i was in the NYC trip. got home sick that weekend believe me life was not great that weekend i missed everyone.
